Over the past few years Chadoak have been nominated and recognised with a number of awards commending the company in a variety of ways. The awards received vary from recognising our commitment to youth employment and apprenticeships and our dedication to Green Plumbing, as well as identifying our Innovation in Return to Work programs and also recognising one of our employees with the Young Achiever Award.
API Magazine “Green Plumbers Commercial Project of the Year 2007 Award”.
The award recognised work the company carried out for Kilbreda College in Mentone, designing and constructing an 180,000 litre below ground water tank to harvest rainwater. The tank system selected was the ‘Elmich Versitank Plus 880’comprising of 720 cells, which were delivered to the school as a flat pack and assembled by the students under the direction of Kilbreda staff. The site for the tank was in the playing fields at the college. The size of the excavation was 20 m x 12 m x 1.8 m deep. The collected water is used to irrigate the sports grounds and supply water to cisterns in the change rooms.
Cambridge Insurance – Winner – Innovation in Return to Work - 2007
In 2007, Cambridge presented Chadoak with a “Better Workplace” award, titled the “Innovation in Return to Work” award, for assisting in an injured employee’s return to work, so he could complete his apprenticeship.
Chadoak use number of methods to support our employees to return back to work.
Melbourne Business Awards 2007 - Young Achiever Award
The MBA Young Achiever Award for 2007 was awarded to Chadoak employee, Devi, in recognition of her outstanding achievements.
